Adding more weight to the sander also helps the sander be more efficient. After you have sanded the concrete, mix the epoxy. Most epoxy kits that you can find at Home Depot or Lowes are going to be 50% solid and you will have to measure out how much water to add. Mixing 3 gallons at a time is the recommended amount. After it is mixed, you can start rolling it on the floor. Make sure that the floor is completely covered in epoxy. After you have rolled on the epoxy, you are going to spread vinyl chips and completely cover the floor. This helps with traction and it looks nicer. The garage is not done yet. Be sure to wait the recommended amount of time before applying the top layer, which seals it. The top coat is generally going to be made of polyaspartic.
