After all, gardening is even considered to be on the rise – especially among younger people. The data that has been collected on the subject even more than backs this up, showing that more than one quarter (around 29%, to be just a bit more exact) of all gardeners in the United States fall between the youthful ages of 18 and 34. Older generations, who make up about 35% of the total gardening population seen throughout the country, are passing along their love of gardening and of growing things, something that can be seen in many other sectors of the gardening world. In total, it has been found that more than 117 million people in the United States gardened at some point throughout the year of 2017 alone.
